No purchase necessary to enter. Complete an official entry form according to instructions. For eligibility, your entry must be entered by midnight August 1, 2007. No responsibility is assumed for late or misdirected entries. One entry per person. You must be 18 years or older to enter. No substitutions will be made for prizes. Sweepstakes open only to residents of the United States of America (except Puerto Rico) and Canada. Employees of Dirt Rag and members of their immediate families are not eligible. Are the winners selected "subjectively" as the ad says, or "at random" as the finer print says? This is confusing.

Sorry for the delay and the confusion. This is most definitely a contest of skill - both of writing and photography. I think the wide array of entries is most likely a result of the contradiction in the finer print, but this contest is definitely one of skill and not chance.
