Jim F. - Crestline, CA

I started riding to work in april. I found the bike I am riding in the picture at the local landfill 3 yrs earlier when I was still a smoker. Here on the mountain there are a-lot of hill climbs my ride home is 30 min of serious step climbing and the rest is just up hill for another 25 min yes it is on the road but I have some routes I can take that give me some off road. I am starting to ride the main hwy on the mountain on my days off and just completed a 25 mile ride on the bike In the picture. I will be going for a 56 mile ride round trip soon Big Bear and back. I would never have known I could do this if would have listened to people that said I could'nt. I clean & repair my bike on weekends and look forward to new longer rides . Cycling has changed me. I dream of the road & trail on my bike. RIDE to LIVE
